The staff were incredibly helpful. I mean we had a family emergency come up and they sorted things out for us without hesitation even offered us late check out.

It wasn’t cheap, but I mean in this world, sometimes you pay for peace of mind.

Comfortable bed, clean room, with a great location for easy access to the nearby beaches and a helpful staff member who assisted us with our luggage, which was especially appreciated with a baby in tow.

shower lacked hot water consistency

We stayed in the King Room, Non-Smoking for 3 nights, and it was really spacious and clean. The layout was super nice, really loved that. The bed was comfy, too, which made for a good night's sleep. No complaints about hot water or housekeeping – they did a great job daily. Breezy and great vibes overall!

I recently stayed at the Wyndham in Middletown and had a comfortable experience. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, super cozy. I appreciated the spacious room with a fridge and microwave for convenience. The outdoor bar area was a perfect spot to unwind after a day out, and the location made it easy to access downtown and the beaches without getting stuck in the crowds. The shuttle service was a great bonus, making trips into town a breeze. However, the shower water pressure left a lot to be desired. it barely trickled, which made showering quite frustrating. Also, I noticed the humidity level in the room was high, causing our clothes to feel damp during our stay. I brought these up to the front desk. the response was a bit dismissive, attributing it to the rain, which felt like a missed opportunity for better service. Overall, it was a good stay with room for improvement.

The bar area at Wyndham is a chill spot to unwind after your culinary adventures, and I was blown away by the hotel restaurant's seafood. it's not something you'd typically expect from a hotel! Plus, they kept the pool pristine for some refreshing dips.

But watch out for the noise! Folks outside were partying hard until the wee hours and the front desk didn't seem to have much control over it. Still, the warm vibes and friendly staff made it feel like home.

easy access to newport's parks and attractions

staying here was a delight because of how close we were to lovely parks like the exploration center and aquarium, and the onsite shuttle made it so easy to get to downtown for sightseeing and dinner.
